I can play with host, I don't play apprentice anymore but it worked when I used to. Usually I have no problems but occasionally no connect, or disconnect after first game with no system player lost message. I believe it's a problem with my system in general, not mws. In past versions I've had problems when no one else has had any. _________________ Rogue is king, death to the netdeck! |

Is this poll realy representive for the amount of connections/freezing problems?
Because I received a warning last time not to run a Prized tournament with Magic Workstation in Magic-League, because of the rampant connection troubles.
Has this improved now? Or was it an overreaction?
Also, I don't understand how it can be a problem with your system. All the other programs on your system work right? Or? If everyone with like a 'bad system' doesn't vote yes, because they reason it's not MWS's fault, then this poll has no use....
Further, if there are any known problems with windows versions and people know how they can be fixed, we should make a Guide for other people how to do that too.
Greets,
Koen |

Koen i think, to be sure on your side of things, is at a casual time when there are lots of ppl in your IRC channel, ask them all who can or cannot connect OK with MWS. If you get enuff ppl with no probs, then try running your tourney in MWS again.. the warning was because there was enuff 'reasonable doubt' that MWS wasnt connecting ok for most ppl, so in that sense there was reason. however, get some opinions for or against the problem and you have your answer. _________________ HGML Patch Programmer, Webmaster, and Set Coordinator

I know next connection errors now:
permanent errors:
1) games throught MWSHost disconnected after 5-10 min (will fixed soon)
2) AOL users can't call or connect to MWSHost
rare errors:
1) after connection data not sended (you see 0 life for opponent) and chat messages don't sended too
2) after connection, after 2-5 min of game, data don't sended to opponent and don't show "Disconnect", after about 2 min disconnect.
If who know other errors, write in forum. |
