Asprotect is best. It is true. You can't have acces to our AsProtect version. Each user have personally variation of AsProtect. You may tell me program names, cracked with last(!) AsProtect version?

Sure, i can, mmmm thinking , oh yes, I give u one that u know Magicworkstation. (or will be cracked soon i u wanna bet)

We can do a little championship.

I say i can break the protection of ur new version of Magic Work station, 0.94a (the buggeless). Wanna bet?

Anyway i give u a free advice, never (NEVER) make jokes with a person that u dont know (i can be a fool, or can be the person that cracks ur program).

If u wanna bet... bet at ur own risk

It is indeed in production and is moving along. It is indeed behind schedule. I do believe that it will actually be release by September prolly.

However, even when it is realeased it need to seen if it is better than MWS. Currently MWS can get around firewalls, I don't think shroomy is even working on that. MWS has many fine features and is a fine program.

If appr 2.0 happens to be better, then my league will likely switch to it. We will want to use the best program. Right now though, I believe that it will probably not be any better, but will be comparable. If it cannot get around a fw, then it is not worth using.

2MwsCracker:
OK, you professional programmer and skilled in reverse engineering, I believe.

You can apply your abilities in more useful fields:

Decode Apprentice32 binary .DEC format, for example.
For this information we with pleasure shall give you a key

Shareware program will live (and grow) only when authors get a (small) fee.

I believe, what you can remove AsProtect shell (now we use only ~20% of AsProtect abilities). But in this case we will start for implementing new protection features instead of MTG features.

What more important for you?

I can get one with my own skills (no ofense), dont need a key, I dont use Mws, (yeah, seems powerful, and really nice, but i havent got time to test it deeply, and also the people with i play use app) and shareware version works fine, doesnt it? I dont need for extra features (hehe, i not magic pro too) , ok i hate Nags (omg really hate em )

In that case, right, im 100% agree, and as i had said i admire russian people (i play strategies games, like Europa Universalis2, Hearts of iron, etc, and i know too much from the Russia History)

Congrats. Aside from pointing out that you *probably* would be able to crack MWS if you gave it a shot (but are not willing to give it a shot, because you don't think the program is worth your effort etc. etc.), you've made a meaningless and pointless threat.

For whatever skills you have (note that I said "skills" rather than "talents"... all you've shown us so far is that you know what tools go with what, and I'm sure that you can find that information on plenty of websites, so at most you've proven that you're a member of the cracking community), you're sure not making any use of them by threatening the devs of a random shareware program, and you're not exactly impressing the hundred or so members of the forum.

You're not scaring anyone. Get a life.

Apprentice 2.0 is a nice project. neoshroom says he will be ready soon all the time, but he keeps postphoning. You'll just have to see through that optimism and realize that it does take a while to make it...

But I agree with most people that Apprentice 2.0 will be a bigger success. It'll be more simple without many options and that's what most people want.

Further about the car comparison: The extra options on cars came after lots of decennia of car development. First things that were developped is speed, comfort and not needing much patrol ... Existing Magic play programs still face a lot of basic problems. So adding all those "nifty features" is like talking about GPS, radio and airco in cars back in 1900...

There currently isn't any free/cheap magic program that doesn't have problems. Modo costs a lot of money, Apprentice has a lot of bugs. So the logic step is just making a program mostly the same as Modo and Apprentice, and just fixing the bugs... but no ... MWS developers got lured into adding a lot of unimportant secondary options...

So now people with slower computers can't use MWS and there are more bugs because the program is so "complex". Further people need to download 10 MB, before they can start, while Apprentice is just 2 MB. Then they open MWS and see a deck editor that is far from intuitive to use and has a lot of buttons where the beginner doesn't understand anything about...

So like I said before: Simple intuitive deck editor with as few buttons as possible. And the buttons that are there should be very intuitive and clear etc.. MWSplay looks pretty ok, but it could have been a lot simpler, and focussing on the connection problems from the start, instead of making arrows, P/T editing and card pictures etc.

Come on... be realistic...

MWSDevs did not randomly add features because they wanted to piss people off.... they add features because people ask for them... It'll be interesting to see, when (or if) Apprentice v2 comes out, which program users will use: Apprentice, no frills, but usable, or MWS, with lots of features they dont use, but one or two they specially requested and MWSDevs added especially for them...
